Pork cheeks with vegetable sauce

Ingredients for 4 people
  • 8 pork cheeks
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 leek
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Parsley
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 piece of red pepper
  • 1 piece of green pepper
  • 150 ml red wine
  • Soy sauce
  • Black pepper balls
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • 250 ml of meat soup

1. Clean the pork cheeks of the fat that may have, flour whole and fry a little.

2. Separate and prepare all the vegetables and then cook them with the pork cheeks. With this we will make the sauce.

3. Put the oil in the pot and add the chopped vegetables: onion, carrot, leek, bay leaf, peppers and parsley. When they are well cooked and with a little bit of color, we chop and add the tomato.

4. Let sauté, put the pepper balls, a little coarse salt, put the red wine and soy sauce.

5. Let reduce, add the meat soup, a small boil and add the pork cheeks. Let cook without sticking and throw the water to put them to cook. Close the express pot and let it cook over low heat about 30 minutes. The time depends of course on the meat and the pot.

6. When we open the pot, we puncture the cheeks to see if they have been well made, we remove them and we leave all the vegetables to crush them with the blender. We can also pass it through a colander to make it finer, since this will be the sauce of our cheeks.

7. Place the pork cheeks on a tray, whole or cut into two pieces and put the sauce.
