At the helm of Oblanca Group is Javier Oblanca Álvarez, an economist with an obvious entrepreneurial vocation. A key piece in the company's development and professionalization since 1982, he has also played a crucial role in the foundation of the Group Topgel, of which he currently is a partner. Honest, committed and with a clear vision for the future of his company, Javier is an approachable person and family member who enjoys traveling, especially through the Picos de Europa, taking increasingly more challenging trails with family and friends.
With a Law Degree and MBA from the IE, Oscar Oblanca Alvarez joined the company after several years of experience in companies located in Spain, the United Kingdom and Latin America. His management model and entrepreneurial spirit have been fundamental for the company's modernization and diversification. With a spirit of continuous improvement, he always tries to get the maximum potential trusting in the team's talent. Great connoisseur of Rock & Roll Music, he enjoys playing the electric guitar. He plays sports like skiing and tennis and loves to spend his free time surrounded by his family.
Roberto holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine, although he began his career as professional basketball player and coach. Having held various positions in his more than 15 years at Oblanca, his current responsibility is Field Production. He is demanding, responsible and always eager to learn and improve, but the world of sports is what Roberto continues to like the most.
After almost 20 years of working at Oblanca, Carlos is defined as a calm, responsible professional. He has a great fondness for the motor world, even having participated in car rallies outside of Spain.
Isabel has a degree in Business Administration from CUNEF and a Master's in Auditing and Accounting from ICADE Business School. Before joining Oblanca, she gained valuable professional experience by working for 3 years as a Financial Auditor at PwC and 9 years in the financial department of Generali, developing accounting, reporting, business financial control and ERP implementation tasks. She is a very familiar person, easy to deal with due to her kindness and permanent smile, whose main hobbies are gastronomic tours, yoga, going to a good concert or other more homely ones such as reading or crafts.
A computer engineer with an MBA from the IESE Business School and a Master's degree in Big Data from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Diego began his career at Microsoft, where he worked for 12 years before joining Oblanca in 2019. He has worked in international teams offering services to customers worldwide, enabling him to gain knowledge about the commercial realities of other cultures. A Real Madrid fan “to the core”, he enjoys reading a good book and activities like skiing, mountain biking, and tennis. His favourite plan is one that includes family and friends.
